We are currently recruiting for a full-time, Commercial Account Executive (Producer)

About the Role

 This is a commissioned based sales position working with Megson FitzPatrick to actively pursue commercial insurance opportunities.  In this role, you will align yourself with our core values, and actively engage yourself and pride yourself in being a Trusted Advisor to clients and potential clients by ensuring their risk management needs are being met.  This is a pro-active sales position which will require you to be out of the office on most work days generating leads and writing new business.

You are ambitious and have strong morals. You are a dynamic, extrovert, who loves the thrill of meeting new people, and forming and nurturing relationships.  Networking is your passion and one of your top skills.  You have keen listening skills and are able to effectively communicate with peers and senior executives/decision makers.  You have the ability to recognize and actively pursue new business opportunities, have excellent follow- up and follow through skills to follow-up on leads that could translate into new business relationship with Megson FitzPatrick.  You are current with world events, have excellent business acumen and an awareness and understanding of general business terminology.

What you bring to the table

• 4+ years in professional sales
• A proven sales record in a business-to-business model
• A sound understanding of the sales cycle
• A pipeline of business contacts
• The love of a challenge with the desire and ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Insurance experience/terminology would be considered an asset, but not a requirement
• A desire to learn and understand insurance and insurance terminology through furthering education
• The ability to strategically network and are a member of a minimum of 2 Associations
• The ability to attend events/meetings outside of the regular work day
• Your own reliable transportation
