Megson FitzPatrick has the right residential coverage to suit your needs. Whether you are a long-standing or first time homeowner, a condominium owner or a tenant, we have a policy that provides full coverage for you. At Megson FitzPatrick we take the protection of what may be your biggest investment seriously. Your home can be exposed to many different risks. Fortunately, we have the knowledge and the right levels of coverage to give you peace of mind. For your convenience, when buying or making changes to your insurance, we have dedicated teams at each of our 4 locations. We also have an “in-house” personal lines program, which means we have our own customized home insurance wordings and ratings to help us deliver you the best service and value.

Homeowners Insurance

We have two different types of policies to ensure we reach the correct level of coverage for your needs: Homeowners Comprehensive and Homeowners Broad. Coverage includes replacement cost on home and contents as well as additional living expenses after an insured loss, to maintain your family’s standard of living. A combined single limit loss clause enhances coverage for a loss affected by unforeseen increases in the replacement costs of building and contents.

Condominium Insurance

Owning a condominium is different from owning a house. We address the unique requirements of condominium unit owners with coverage automatically included for contingent property and liability assessments and unit owner’s contingent insurance. Have the security of a Comprehensive policy and see why our condominium policy is one of the best in the market. It includes replacement cost for contents, additional living expenses and liability coverage.

Tenant's Insurance

Have you ever wondered who would pay for a night or a week in a hotel if you could not live in your suite after it was damaged by fire? Could you pay a hotel bill in addition to your rent? How would you replace contents that might have “gone up in smoke”? What if you were responsible for starting the fire? The risk of liability claims being made against renters is very real. Without insurance, it could be devastating. Tenants in apartment buildings or tenants in a residential home can be held liable for damage to the building itself, leaving the tenant in a situation that could cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our Tenants Insurance policy is available to cover these costs. It is a very cost effective way of making sure you can financially survive a fire or other unforeseen events.

All our packages are competitively priced. With a variety of deductible options and coverage options, such as earthquake and identity theft, we have the policy to suit your needs.
