Megson FitzPatrick is dedicated to being your Trusted Insurance Advisor. As such, we are pleased to offer an alternative for Motorcycle & Scooter insurance for the province of BC. Our annual motorcycle policy provides ”All Perils” physical damage insurance coverage for touring, cruising, sport touring and sport class motorcycles for riders throughout BC. And our annual scooter policy provides “All Perils” physical damage insurance coverage for scooters up to and including 250cc (over 250cc qualifies for our Motorcycle program), also BC-wide.

Motorcycle

These are some of the available features that make the motorcycle program a favourite with many BC riders:

• We offer a combination of on-road and storage coverage. The policy automatically takes into consideration the seasonal use of motorcycles, so we don’t restrict your on-road use to a certain period of time
• “All Perils” annual combined coverage (Collision & Comprehensive combined)
• A variety of deductible options
• One claim forgiveness (no rating penalty)
• Emergency roadside assistance up to a maximum of $100 per occurrence, with no deductible

The Motorcycle policy includes:

• Travel Protection when travelling or vacationing outside your city of residence
  • $500 additional living expenses in the event of loss or damage from an insured peril
  • $1500 to bring a damaged or recovered stolen vehicle back home
  • $1500 of travel expenses to return home
  • $500 replacement vehicle expenses
  • Lock re-keying- if keys are stolen, with no deductible
  • Limited depreciation- limited depreciation for motorcycles up to 3 model years old
  • The policy coverage will extend to trailers towed by your motorcycle and attached accessories, provided they are included in the declared value
  • Riding gear will be included, if requested, and is insured on an actual cash value basis

Scooter

We created our scooter program with our clients’ needs in mind. Some of the available features include:

• We offer a combination of on-road and storage coverage. The policy automatically takes into consideration the seasonal use of scooters, so we don’t restrict your on-road use to a certain period of time
• “All Perils” annual combined coverage (Collision & Comprehensive combined)
• Deductible options of $250 or $500
• One claim forgiveness (no rating penalty)
• Emergency roadside assistance up to a maximum of $100 per occurrence, with no deductible

The Scooter policy includes:

• Lock re-keying- if keys are stolen, with no deductible
• Limited depreciation- limited depreciation for scooters up to 3 model years old
• Unlimited use to or from work or school
• Riding Gear will be included, if requested, and is insured on an actual cash value basis
