Employee Testimonials

I was just thinking about how crazy the past few months have been and how sad I am that I no longer get to work at MFI. Don't get me wrong, my new job here in Toronto is incredible, but it is no MFI :)I just thought I would send a quick note to let you know you are missed and that I am very fortunate to have worked for a company like MFI.You truly provided the mentoring needed to handle the position I am in now and I often speak fondly of MFI and those who run it.All the best

From my first contact with Megson FitzPatrick it has shown itself to be a company that concerns itself with the needs of all its employees. A wide assortment of company programs and initiatives has established an environment where it is obvious that the team is emotionally, and not just physically engaged with their work. Megson FitzPatrick is an honest company that respects its employees enough to ensure that everyone is actively involved. It is a real pleasure to work with a team that empowers and stands behind you.

Megson FitzPatrick is like family to me. I am proud to be a part of a successful growing company that values its employees and its community. It shows in the length of time people work here and in the amount of fundraising we take part in.

Today is my last day here at Megson, it is bitter-sweet. I am really looking forward to starting my new job, but feel like I just made a “ butt print” in my seat here in accounting. A big thank you to all the wonderful ladies/gents in accounting for being so welcoming and an absolute pleasure to work with ( who would have thought that the accounting dept. could be so fun!). I wish you all great success and happiness both at Megson and in life.Best wishes and many hugs!!!

With sadness and fond memories, I would like to say farewell to everyone as I head back to the east coast next week with my husband (at least I HOPE he’s coming with me!). Although I’ve only worked for Megson Fitzpatrick since May, 2014, it feels like I’ve been here much longer. Like Jackie H. says, “Wow, only 2 years – sure FEELS longer!” I will miss the laughs and working with such a great group of people. I’ve been at the Shelbourne location since October/15 and love the busy atmosphere and people. Lu and Cole, you are the coolest of managers and you truly care about the team. Megan, I don’t know how you do it, but all the best with your Auto team and Policy Centre training. Goodbye to the A-team and to the B-team, Joelle and the rest of the personal home and auto team, Jocelyn, Yasmin and Brenda I., Jennifer & Melina, m/c and commercial peeps and everyone else I haven’t named. There are so many! Thanks for the continuing paychecks, Claudia, and to the owners who approved them! Thanks to the social committee for always organizing fun events for us. Good luck, Mo, with your move and new family adventure as well. Everybody continues to #setthebarhigh, #deliverresults and #dotherightthing. So I’m going to do the right thing by moving close to my daughter and son-in-law and hopefully, she will deliver results in November! lol Thank you for everything, the mentoring, the many challenges and allowing me to adjust my schedule to what worked best for me. The staff appreciation day and birthday off with pay was the best! On behalf of the staff, please DON’T STOP! Thank you for the lovely notes on the cards (loved the Newfie quote, Craig!) and the wonderful gifts also! Good luck with all of the coming changes with Cumberbirch and the new commercial building – I hope everything comes together well for all involved. It is truly a good feeling for my last job to be with such a great company such as Megson Fitzpatrick. “We exist to improve the lives of our Clients, Team and Community”….this is very, very true. From someone who has been around the block for a long time, if you think the grass is greener on the other side, think again – maybe it’s the bull**** making it greener. If you give it your all, the opportunities, experience and education that Megson Fitzpatrick provides to everyone is bar none. I will miss you all.
