As cases of the ever-changing coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to spread, we would like to share Megson FitzPatrick’s plans on how we will continue to serve our clients while adhering to our social responsibilities of reducing the level of social interactions in our three locations.
As of end of business (6:00 p.m.), Wednesday, March 18, 2020, our offices are no longer open to the general public and in-person meetings have been temporarily delayed. We remain open for business, as serving our clients is our number one priority. For now, we would ask that whenever possible, all business be conducted over the phone, by email, or via video conferencing. We are taking these steps to reduce the risk to our clients and our team.

During this time, policy documents and signatures will be accepted via email. Any required decals will be mailed to you once the transaction is complete.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic is a global event, service levels throughout our industry are being challenged. In some cases, it may take longer to handle change requests or request different coverage options. We will continue to work with our insurance company partners to minimize the impact of this slowdown.

Telecommunication Challenges & Tips
While we are available for phone and email transactions, it is also important to note that network carriers have seen higher than expected call volumes. If you phone and hear that the number is not in service, please try phoning again. If at all possible, try to save calls for lower demand times. Carriers have indicated that between 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. are the busiest times.
