Earlier this month, we announced that we are opening an office in Nanaimo. It will be our first office outside of Greater Victoria, and we are so excited!
Nanaimo’s booming development and investment in infrastructure to accommodate its expanding population made it a natural choice for our newest office location. Plus, we hear it’s a great place to live and work.

Our office space on Wallace Street in downtown Nanaimo will be equipped with an experienced team of commercial insurance brokers, and a senior personal insurance agent, to help you with your business and home insurance needs. Our Nanaimo team will be supported by our Victoria offices, giving you access to our educated, experienced, and enthusiastic staff. Our Victoria team will be available for:
- Claims service – our dedicated team of claims professionals is here to answer your questions, walk you through the claims process, and help you resolve any issues that arise.
- Insurance marketing – our insurance marketing team has tripled in recent years. This team spends all day working with insurers to find the coverage you need at the best possible price, and they specialize in securing coverage for large, complex risks.
- Fleet – we have a growing fleet department at Megson FitzPatrick to help with your commercial auto needs, from five car small delivery businesses, to large trucking operations and municipal fleets. Everyone in our fleet department constantly goes above & beyond to deliver whatever our clients need, and they do it with a sincere smile.
- Home (and condo) insurance – there will be a home insurance agent in our Nanaimo office to help you in-person, but most home insurance policies will be serviced by our Victoria-based team. Whether you live in Nanaimo, Cranbrook, Fort Nelson, or anywhere in between, our personal insurance team has the skills to help you.
